Ingredients:

1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt

1 1/2 cups diced apples (about 2 medium apples), peeled


PREPARATION:


Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5 inch loaf pan.


Make the streusel topping: In a small bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Cut in the cold butter using a pastry cutter or fork until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Set aside.

How to make MOJO POTATOES Recipe

Ingredients:


These potatoes are ideal for nibbling or serving as an appetizer due to their crispy outside and tender inside. These snacks gained popularity thanks to Shakey’s Pizza and are incredibly addictive. This pizza store was first established in Singapore at Lucky Plaza in March 2022, extending its presence from the Philippines and the United States. Therefore, it functioned as a subtle hint that I really should do this. Here is my interpretation that closely imitates it. I have also made my own rendition of their dip as I am unable to accurately identify its flavor. 


Mojo-infused potatoes


Potatoes are a kind of food.


(I used russet potatoes) Between 500 and 600 grams Thoroughly rinse, thoroughly scrub, and promptly pat dry. A single large egg, with its shell removed, sliced into pieces that are 1/2 inch thick.

25 milliliters of milk

Blend of spices and herbs

1/2 cup of all-purpose flour 1/2 cup of cornstarch 1/2 teaspoon of salt

Could you perhaps clarify whether you are referring about a measurement of 1/4 teaspoon of paprika?

3/4 teaspoon of garlic powder

1.75 tablespoons of onion powder


0.5 teaspoons of thyme

4. Increase the temperature of the oil to about 160 degrees Celsius. An alternative is to immerse a wooden chopstick into the oil to determine its temperature. Once the oil around the chopstick begins to form bubbles, it indicates that it has reached a sufficiently enough temperature for usage. 


5. Ensure that the pan is not overcrowded while deep frying the potato pieces. Cook the edges of the fish in the deep fryer until they become brown. If the browning process is occurring too rapidly, decrease the heat slightly. Transfer to a cooling rack to allow excess oil to drain. Proceed with the remaining potatoes using the same method. Each batch required around two minutes of my time. 


6. Increase the temperature of the oil by raking it. Extend the frying time of the potatoes by an additional thirty seconds. Subsequently, place it on the cooling rack. Proceed with the remaining potatoes using the same method. 


Step 7: Garnish with your choice condiment and savor!

Texas Turtle Sheet Cake

Ingredients:


2 cups of white sugar


2 cups of flour that already has baking powder and salt mixed in.


1 cup of butter


1 cup of dark coffee


1/3 cup of cocoa powder without sugar


2 huevos


1/2 cup of buttermilk


Chocolate icing:


1/4 cup of butter


4 tablespoons of buttermilk


3 tablespoons of cocoa without sugar


2 and a half cups of powdered sugar


Turtle topping:


1/2 cup of chopped pecans


1 cup of chocolate chips that are not too sweet


1 cup of caramel sauce, for pouring on top


PREPARATION:


Heat the oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a 9×13-inch baking pan by greasing and flouring it. In a big bowl, mix self-rising flour and sugar. Put aside.


In a pot, mix 1 cup of butter, 1 cup of coffee, and 1/3 cup of cocoa. Heat until boiling, stirring all the time. Pour the mixture into the dry ingredients that have been prepared. Use a hand mixer to blend the wet and dry ingredients together on medium speed until they are well mixed. Put eggs and half a cup of buttermilk. Mix at a medium speed for about one more minute, until everything is well mixed.


3. Put the mixture into the baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes. When the cake is finished baking, you can check if it’s ready by inserting a toothpick or fork into the middle of the cake. If it comes out clean, the cake is done.


Make the frosting. In a small pot, mix 1/4 cup of butter, 4 tablespoons of buttermilk, and 3 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder. Heat until boiling, stirring often.


Take the mixture off the heat and slowly stir in powdered sugar using a wire whisk, adding half a cup at a time.


Put the warm frosting on top of the cake. When the cake is hot, add chopped pecans and chocolate chips on top. Put caramel sauce on top.


Advice: If you don’t have buttermilk, it’s not a problem. Combine half a cup of milk with two teaspoons of vinegar or lemon juice. Wait a few minutes before mixing it with the rest of the ingredients.

1/4 cup flour you can use gluten-free flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

2 lb chicken legs about 3-4 large chicken legs

2 tablespoons olive oil

10 oz mushrooms each sliced in half

3 garlic cloves minced

1 tablespoon olive oil if needed1 cup chicken stock

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup heavy cream


Préparations :


In a small bowl, combine the flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper. On a large plate, dredge chicken legs in this seasoned flour mixture


Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet on medium-high heat.


Add chicken legs skin side down and brown for about 4 minutes until the skin turns a nice golden color.

Flip chicken legs over to the other side and brown the other side for about 3 minutes.


Remove browned chicken legs and set them aside. Also, remove those parts of olive oil that got too dark from browning the chicken with flour mixture.


To the same, now empty skillet, add mushrooms (sliced in half) and minced garlic, add an extra tablespoon of olive oil (if needed) and saute them together on medium heat for 2 minutes.


Add chicken stock to the skillet, scraping up the browned bits at the bottom of the pan. Add 1/4 teaspoon of salt and stir.


Place chicken legs back in the pan.


Bring the chicken stock to boil, cover, and reduce heat to simmer on low-medium.


Simmer chicken legs for 25-30 minutes, until the chicken is completely cooked through and the juices run clear when chicken is cut in the middle.


Remove the cooked chicken legs to a plate and keep warm.


Turn the heat under the skillet to medium-high, and simmer the mushroom sauce for about 4 minutes until it is reduced by about a third.


Stir in the 1/2 cup heavy cream into the mushroom sauce and simmer for another 2 minutes on low-medium heat, constantly stirring and scraping from the bottom of the skillet, until the sauce gets thicker.


Add chicken legs back to the skillet to warm them up.
